My truck would not crank on Sunday. I left it and my key to the truck with a very nice employee who happened to be at the dealership on Sunday afternoon. She said she would get the key to the service department Monday morning with a note explaining that the truck would not crank. The truck was not moved or investigated until Wednesday! Manager aggressively pushed the extended warranty which I agreed to thinking it would be a GM warranty. When I got home I saw the warranty was for a 3rd party called the Versant Group and investigating found that the Better Business Bureau doesn't recommend them citing customer complaints. I feel like that $3200 was wasted and I am a 71 year old veteran that can't afford to waste money. Hailey didn't offer any help on canceling the warranty so I am trying to cancel it myself. Trish went above and beyond. Excellent and honest. The truck was supposed to be detailed when delivered. It had not even been washed. Filthy with glass and nails in the bed. The engine looked like a dirt road. I contacted Trish and she was apologetic but offered nothing like a gift card or anything to make up for it. I live 4 hours away. Just a gesture like that would have went a long way. You spend a lot of money and you want a new to you car to be as clean as possible.

Yes, I contacted them about doing a warranty work on a 2024 Chevrolet Malibu which my trunk is leaking water very badly. They told me they can't make me an appointment on a Saturday because they're new to this. They also told me that I'd have to leave it up there multiple days for them to fix this, which it being my only car. My experience with Chatom Motors was awesome!! I had to get my radio reinstalled in my car and finally found the time and money to do so! When I got to Chatom Motors it took them only 2 hours to reinstall my radio for me and believe me it was no easy job, lots of tiny screws and unbearable heat to do it in!!! Bought a vehicle from them that had been from auction just a few days. Buying experience with sales was good. But obviously their service shop has a lack of knowledge. I asked if a service was performed and was told it wasn’t needed. Noticed a misfire at idle and took it upon myself to service it. Both fuel filters were this filthy and covered in sludge.
